Exfoliate your skin, focus on the driest areas: knees, elbows, feet, and hands. 

With proper care your tan should last a minimum of 7 days. Depending on the extent of your personal post-tan care, the tan can last 10-12 days. 

You can shower 12-24 hours after your tan. Your tan develops up to 24 hours after application so the longer you wait the deeper your tan will be. I recommend showering and exfoliating about 2/3 hours before your appointment. For your first post-tan shower rinse 3-5 minutes with mild soap and water. Try for a more gentle shower, no wash cloth or loofah. Moisturize your whole body after your shower because it helps the tan last longer and fade evenly. Pat yourself dry instead of rubbing your skin dry with a towel. 

It’s best to shave or wax before your appointment. Waxing is best at least 24 hours before your tan so your pores have time to close up, and shaving is best at least 2 hours before your appointment. Post-tan shaving can lessen the life of your tan. 

During your spray tan you can be fully nude, or wear black bra and underwear. Keep in mind what kind of tan lines your undergarments will leave and choose accordingly.

When leaving your appointment, it’s best to wear dark colored loose clothing and open toed shoes. And avoid water or activities that might make you sweat for up to 12 hours. 

I will bring my pop up tent and set it up in your desired space. Preferably near a window to provide good lighting. There will be no mess to clean up because the tent will catch any over spray, protecting your belongings.
